Aati kya khandala......(Nah!)

Well day 3 . I'm in pune right now . Drove from mumbai . The drive was pretty nice. We have rented an innova so pretty comfortable . One interesting thing i noted is the car sounds like a whale at high speeds . Its weird . The whole ride there was like whales talking each other all the way . There were some very cool tunnels on the way . Right through the hills . Nice too see . We passed through Khandala and lonavala . Its been raining every few hours . It rains like its being controlled by some switch . Comes sudden and hard and goes when on its own in a flash . In that way its nice cos the weather is managable . If it was summer then it would have been much more of a pain . Pune is not that big of a place . Even the roads are smallish . Kinda boring as of now . But we came here cos of bro who is doing his MBA in SIBM. Celebrated his birthday and met some other cousins as well so that was nice . Went and saw SIBM campus . Its on top of a hill so the view is awesome . Nice and cool. One funny thing is to see people in formals looking like professionals riding cycles , cos thats the way to get to classes since its some distance from the hostel area . Other than that nothing much .One thing i noticed is that there is no compulsory helmet rule here which is weird to see since the condition of bangalore . Anyway time to go . Will be going to Shirdi on monday , then back to mumbai . Cya . Bangalore must be nice and cool these days.

Mumbai meri jan....(mat le)

Well i'm this jobless that i'm blogging from mumbai .
So far its been interesting in a lot of ways . The plane ride was a big cliche with a crying kid and everything. The plane shook worse than some of the bus rides i've had (well to be fair it was a no frills spice jet plane so its understandable). As soon as i got out of the plane i expected some cool weather since it had rained twice already but all i got was sticky air which is very uncomfortable coming from the bangalore cool air. One thing i always like is going to a place where hindi is the common language which always makes me feel more comfortable. The route to my relatives place was like one long slum. I dont mean to sound like a firang but it was surprising to me. And it wasnt that clean either. Didnt find one clean spot over the whole car ride. Finally we reach . The pleasantries out of the way. Nothing much happened . Then casually went out with dad and his brother to the two malls on each side of the apartment complex. One had a 3D theatre aand all . I want one in Bangalore. Anywho. Walked into the nicer one and there is a huge crowd and photo flashes going of at regular intervals. Well the curious person i am i went upstairs to get a better look from top . And look who it was Imran Khan . On the first day! Not bad eh? He was with some female called Shruti who is apparently the daughter of Kamal Hassan and they were promoting LUCK their new film . Anyway there were three photographers next to me screaming his name out trying to get him to look up so that they can get the best pic all the while cursing under their breath that he isnt listening to their persistent annoying shouting every single second. He looked white as hell . Must have slobbered a ton of powder on his face or maybe he is just that fair. Well thats all for today . Now its time to go . Have to figure out how 10 people are going to sleep in a small apartment . Cya . Will try to post somemore when i can.

..and I get a free tata sky connection!!

Well to understand this statement let me take you back to where it all began...

It was the 17th of july, 2009, the second day of our placement activities. A few of my co-zombies and i were standing outside the placement office, waiting for the technical round results of netapps. Tension was building up by the second, heartbeats pumping, blood pressure rising, when suddenly the news arrived!! The results were out. We all raced in to read the list of names, and there it was staring us in the eye.
Suddenly we realised the the implication of this announcement, SOWMYA P, our friend had been placed in NDS!! Happiness, thrill, excitement, all these feelings and many more had just rushed in. We were all too happy for her, all of us jumping as if we had got placed ourselves. Congratulations and hugs were being shared, joy expressed and calls being made. Being placed in a company like NDS was an achievement of sorts, the job was good and the package was handsome.
That is when Karan called. Initially she uttered the "thank you's" and "definitely's" (regarding our demands for a grand treat). Then i heard her joyfully exclaim "..and I get a free tata sky connection!!", which made me realise that Sowmya still is and would always be the cutest and sweetest kid around!!
Congatulations Sowmya..

Being funky? Not really..

To quote a very famous person, "Joblessness leads to all creation of collages". No points on guessing who the famous person is.

This is what the last few hours of my time has amounted to.

P.S. : Reading this article, cows in diapers dont seem so ridiculous any more.

P.P.S. : I hadn't written a P.S. in a long time.

P.P.P.S : Credit for the pics go to befunky.com. Nice site.

Wordplay

He WED
his WIFE,
who he met at a RAVE party,
TODAY.
He went ZOOMing
to the wedding, on the way he saw PIGS
with WINGs.
He NODded
RUEfully
with HOPES
that TONER
would SAVE him.
"BUT
i AM
KINDER",
he thought, RUBbing
his ZITs.

Well, other than the last part, it fits nicely.

Anyway, the pic is of the game of scrabble we played the first time in Rio. And referring to the scrabble game we played today, wikipedia says "ok or o.k. is the abbreviation for okay". Whereas some other site says OK originated first and okay was derived later. So is okay, ok? Or is ok okayed? Either way, I win, okay?

P.S. : Thanks Nyah for the wonderful pic.

The Truth and Jhooth of Life (you can help with a better title)
Life is full of ups and downs,
But we always have the urge to move on!
Sometimes we wish to fly like a bird so freeee,
No resumes, unix, data structures or C;
Just the thought of being a carefree zombie
with which comes the package of laughter,
insults and stupidity!;)

But all this can be dreamt while sleeping;)
The wake up call to reality is a slap on the face which is freaky!:P
But we can make our own future,we can believe in our zombie-selves.
And no matter whats ahead,we always know that FRIENDS are there,
Through thick and thin, through words unsaid :).
This comes from the heart,my first time sonnet ;).
And right now i jus feel like going to bed (YAWN!) :).

LAZINESS!

Laziness has many definitions...the hostelites have one and so do localites.Saturday was V day,the day of love and pink Chaddhis ;)!But i had some crazy talk with co zombie sowmeshwari(female hasn joined yet),pjeshwari(another specimen)and some crazy cs hostelites. Now coming to the definition of laziness,v can have a look at nidreshwari/disgusteshwari's face and get the perfect picture of laziness;laziness=nidre+disgust :P(a demo definition).Whereas each hostelite potrays a different definition. It is the sensation in the body that just doesn allow u to get up frm bed to attend a lab at 7.30 but gives you the energy to ask a frnd who stays sm 12km away to come to coll and find out if there's lab!(courtesy Rochelle frm cs and bakri Yamini)! And poor Yam actually agrees to do so!
Co hostelite Ashwini gave a very good logic on laziness. The more comforts you have, the lazier you get which is very evident in zombies choteshwar, nidreshwari(not sure abt the others). We tend to feel very very lazy at home.Such an instance arises wen one want to Pee but has no energy to get up frm bed!The sleep is so intense that it neutralies the stimulus given to the bladder and without ur knowlegde u fall asleep.
Well my thoughts on laziness are getting limited cos i'm not lazy at al ;).
But i must say that laziness is the prime quality of the Zombies!
Hope the zombie puppies follow it.So keep it up and keep getting lazier ;)
ps.Thanks to lambeshwar for giving me the stimulus to write on the blog as i was lazy ;)

Valentines day......

Well it certainly surprises me that none of my illustrious friends who are so well versed with the subject of "Love" have commented on this much celebrated day......
For all those who are not aware of the origins of valentines day... It goes like this.... Back in the distant past around the 13th century there was a stringent custom that marriages could take place only between the royalty..... And there was this "Saint" guy with the name of Valentine who clandestinely arranged marriages between common folk..... And so he was publicly tried and executed.... In remembrance of his execution we celebrate "St Valentines day".
He should meet the marriage brokers we have today or even better the no. of matrimonial sites.... I`m sure he would get up from his grave and commit suicide.... Lolz.......

Now in accordance with "Customs" this day is marked by celebrations and people openly expressing their love to the special people in their lives blah blah blah......
Now its gotten into the minds of people that Valentines day should only be celebrated with a member of the opposite sex.... But it escapes me why people dont celebrate the day with their friends..... Aren`t they your loved ones too.... Dont they need to be shown that you care for them.....
So for the upcoming Valentines day proudly say to the world..... I spent valentines day with not one but many..... And let people wonder what u mean....I mean friends here of course.... And for those who think i mean otherwise.... SCREW U!!!!
I spent Valentines day with two of my close friends Nerdy and Kd and i personally feel it was a very enlightening session for me.... Not so much for nerdy because at the end of our conversation she made up her mind that i am a Dog..... As for Kd he remained as confused as he was before the conversation if not more.... Now thinking back i cannot FATHOM what was it that we spoke about but it was great fun to hang out with them Also it became apparent to them that a square will remain a square and quite a symmetrical one at that.... Cheers guys....

And i would love your comments on my question.....
Does meeting a girl/guy generally mean a date???
Please leave your comments.... Enough said....

The chronicles of Dev D - the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe

Or : the drugs, the slut, and the oh-my-goodness-its-not-over-yet!

I always considered watching a movie on the first day, first show to be something good. Not proud or anything. Basically a positive emotion. But after watching Dev D on the first day, first show, these emotions are dead. i.e. the emotions are attyachaar'd.

I read a few reviews this evening and the reasons for the positivity seems to be that the portrayal of the original characters from Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's book is finally truthful. And that the previously portrayed characters were all too uni-dimensional. Well, its hard to disagree to that. Take for example Dev- The pampered brat who always seems to blow all the money his dad gives for a car, by snorting drugs, and yet buys a BMW later. He basically does everything considered a no-no for a goody-goody guy and just when you think "aw, atleast he's not a murderer", he becomes one. Very multi-dimensional that is.

The plus point of the entire thing was that throughout the movie we had the satisfaction that the six little zombie puppies were spared of the emotional attyachaar.

"Do you drink?" ..... "Like a Phish!"

Thats seems to be the central theme of Dev D .

"Tauba tera jalwa , tauba tera pyaar .... tera emotional atyachar ...."

That song though silly has hilarious lyrics (despite what kow thinks) . But thats about it . Nothing else in the movie is worth mentioning .

It supposed to be a modern day version of Devdas . It just felt like some story of a drugged up drunkards life . The romance part i must have missed somehow . Second half of the movie is just abhay deol , who plays Dev in the movie , stumbling from either a bar or towards a girl . There is literally nothing else in this movie . No drama , certainly no comedy(despite what teacher thought) , no action , no thrill . I just feel blank after watching this movie . How this got 5 stars in TOI i'll never know . Maybe the review guy drinks a lot and does drugs or something , cos the only way to actually like this movie is to watch it when your high, or when your drunk cos you wont realise what your watching that way .

5 stars!!! . I still dont get it. Has to be a misprint.

Following trendz.......

Well as kd seems to have set a new trend and because people seemed to have lost interest(or lost trust??) if that makes sense in the idea of blogging here i am to reinforce the idea among the zombies...... Well as far as randomn thoughts and feelings go i`m feeling highly sarcastic right now.... Sarcasm is a gift.... An inborn trait..... And for those unlucky few who want to pick it up along the way i highly recommend u read or watch the "Yes Prime Mininster" series..... Now the very idea of sarcasm between two people is to amuse the former of the latters total lack of knowledge to the criticicm that is directed towards their way..... I personally advice it..... It is more stimulating than chocolate....(Alcohol could`ve been used here but due to my lack of knowledge i would go with chocolate.... And for those who aren`t aware of the fact that chocolate is a stimulant please refer to page 234 line 15 of kowipedia....)

Now that ive touched upon the subject of alcohol it is beyond my comprehenshion why people would spend money on alcohol just to "Get a kick out of it" as some of my friends would put it....
Guys if u do want a "kick out of anything" i`ll leave my contact details... Dont hesitate to drop in... Well now i feel enticed to try vodka myself and try to comprehend why mortals(ha ha sarcasm right there!!!!) are so drawn towards it...... Come to think of it that totally negates what i previously said so i must state here that i just had an entire Temptations choc to myself raisins flavour.... HOLLA!!!!!

Another thing that is beyond my comprehension is the question of spellings... I thought spellings came into existence to complement speech as a model of understanding.... Well for the life of me i cant fanthom why certain words have to be spelt the way they are....I alwasy used to blame my keyboard for a long time but then i realised that the problem lies elsewhere.....Its the way the keyborad is designed.... lolz... Now understanding is a very relative term here... What one person can easily grasp is beyond the understanding of another.... So going by that trend everyone should invent their own spellings.... lolz....

Statutary warning!!!! for all those of you who have wasted time reading this i can only offer my sincere advice to you guys.... GET A LIFE!!!!!
and for those others who can actually comprehend what i just wrote please leave a comment because i have absolutely no clue what i wrote.... Cheers guys.....

I'M BORED ........

Alright as the title clearly states i'm very bored right now so i'm writing this post out of sheer boredom.

So then , what to write about ..??..?? . Hmmm...... well how about what i'm doin right now . I'm listening to a song called "I'm yours" by Jason mraz . I have heard this song before but somehow never downloaded it . Its a good song . A very light carefree sort of a song .

Ok then . What else ? Well before this song i was listening to some more music . An album infact by The fray . Their new album is titled the same as the band , "The fray" . If you have heard any songs by them before this , then definetly check it out atleast . Their single that released is called "You found  me" . Overall i would say this album has sort of a common sound to it . As i heard the whole album it just sounded all the same to me , even though they were 10 different songs (and no i wasnt listening to the same song 10 times!) . Anyway officially the album is releasing on Feb 3 , so you may wonder how i have it ... well i know a guy , who knows another guy , who knows some other people who , .......... downloaded it illegally ; So i have it .

Ok looks like i'm too bored to write , so thats all for now . Cya later zombies.

The big day. Amazing pictures.

20th Jan 2009, Marin Luther King Jr Day, is now more popular as the United States presidential inauguration day for 44th president, Barack H. Obama.

Amazing pictures of the historic day here.

Here comes Bobeshwari!

Well here goes something.

Introducing myself is out of the ordinary.
They say i have varied names
Bobeshwari , Barkeshwari , Whineshwari!!
My fellow zombies say that i'm agressive(crap),keep barking(nonsense) and whining?!
But beneath my "stupid" self, there is a soft hearted person,
Ever ready to help dear friends and Zombies(its true ok?).
So here's to you.........
This is Bobeshwari-A Zombie Of BMSCE!

Cheers to fellow Zombies:)

(Wow!my first ever poem:).i'm good;);):))

Hey ZOMBIES time for a shayari......

Baarish ki boonde jab
palkon ko choo jaati hai
Thandi hawa jab
baalon ko sehlati hai
Panchiyo ki chehak jab
kaano mein ghul jaati hai
Sach maniye hume
bas aapki yaad aati hai

Anantayaeshwar or Ananteshwar?

hmmm... i surely missed a lot of stuff these hols. Last time i left bangalore (it hasnt even been a fortnight ) zombie had become the official song of our group courtesy an ardent follwer of this song i.e. " teacher" aka nirdeshwawri.
Well this song itself reveals a lot about her(wat say all the "*shwars" or should say "%eshwars", after all we r IT ppl ;))

but surely i can see zombiness has reached new levels.

lemme introduce myself. I am Anantaya ( as in sanskrit, wat say folks?). Anantaya means everlasting, but i know nothing in me which is everlasting. ahh, i do know 1. my sleep. its kinda everlasting. i can sleep as long as anyone can imagine, or even more. but its not me, its this exceptionally strong gravity, which keeps me from staying up ( wonder how much work i m doing against gravity rite now by just sitting here, phew. )
So it means i am an "always-asleep " zombie. ( Question: Arent zombies supposed to be only half asleep or half awake :O 8O) )

So i shall end by telling one and all- " sleep and let others sleep, and the world will become a happy place " :) ( well i should write on this topic some day )

Confused here

Plus points of being eternally confused :
- many more thoughts/options to choose from
- prevents the mind from being idle

Minus points of being eternally confused :
- multiple thoughts screaming inside one's head rendering one deaf to others.

No wait, being deaf to others is a blessing in disguise.

I am confused. Confused as in the noun, not the verb. And I do not usually speak in points, but the training mentioned in the previous post explains this.
Disgustopedia (which is the nearest competitor to kowipedia) defines zombies as sandwich lovers. That is the proven fact till now. The rest are under study, and i'm too confused on if that is eligible or not.
Till the confusion clears, this is me Nidreshwari/disguteshwari saying "Hail, zombies!". Amen.

Memorable Training...

Well this must be mentioned here.... The placements training for our batch was "AWESOME".
Not only was it because we had each other for company but also to a certain extent the interaction in class....
Of considerable note is the way Nyah... presented a list of points on what a person could do when he/she faced stress..... Things were going on fine in the beginning but then i think she got bored with herself and she ended the presentation with a distinctive sigh....(NYAH....) hence her name.... (We will have to contend with these levels of presumption here as i`m sure even she dint have any clue why she said that.... Not that any of us complain....)
Anyways moving on we had plenty of fun during these interactive sessions and we mostly worked as a group unless some overenthusiastic lecturer separated us.... Still it was fun arguing with each other from diff groups... I`m sure u`ll agree sarceshwar... ;-)

Come to think of it the class which had an impact on me personally was the quantitative aptitude classes.... Trust me i never knew i could laugh for such long periods of time.... Me and sarceshwar would laugh at the silliest of jokes and once we started there was no stopping us.... Also courtesy two other friends A.C.U and Hemanth...... We were eternally amused by our own stupidity and invariably one guys infectious laugh would catch us all.... Some of the most fun times ive ever had.....
Another point worthy of note here are the lunches at S.L.V and Mc d..... Totally entertaining affairs though in retrospect i think bobeswari (hope to god i`m pronouncing it right...) was always in the line of fire..... Will certainly be entertaining to have her share her thoughts here......

My gyan for the day......

Zombiness according to kowipedia (Its soon going to become more popular than wikipedia) is a state of being where a person or group of people have reached such exalted heights of maturity and intelligence that is very hard to percieve but it lies in the undercurrent of all body emotions and an imagination that flies across galaxies but yet mingle with mere mortals to guide them towards a certain base standard.....

nyah..eshwari!!!

Hmmm.. well 1st things 1st.. Kudos to lambeshwar for coming up with such an awesome name for me.. Its simply brilliant..
For those who want to know why i'm called that.. Well i get bored of stuff too easily and end up "nyah.."ing it away[;)]..
apart from that i'm fun loving and patient (i do bear with lambeshwar and the rest!!)
Also i write shayaris.. So i guess once in a while u'll will hav to put up with them [;)]
I guess thats about it for now.. Will get back soon.. Sayonara [forgot which language it is, but sounds sweet;)]

Of gods and liquids.....

DISCLAIMER:The following comments are inspired by real events and are not meant to hurt any religous sentiments (not that i give a crap) .

As the saying goes "God works in mysterious ways" .

Most people say that god comes to us in many forms . It can come in the form of humans , animals , even potatoes (people who have seen chandani chowk to china can understand that one) .
Recently some of us in the Zombie group came to the realisation that there is a very real relation between god and liquids .

Now i'm not going to actually mention the particular event that inspired this post , but i will say that there was certainly something very curious about the relation between the actions of god and the viscosity of a liquid .
The formula apparently is : The more viscous the liquid , the stronger the message of god .
So the inference to be taken from this is that if you want to avoid the strong messages of god , stay away from liquids . Now i dont mean to say , dont drink water to avoid messages from god .
(well actually if you dont drink water , you'll end up fainting and have delusions of meeting god!)
All i mean to say is try and avoid liquids , especially while riding , 'cos it can bring you a lot closer to god than what you might be comfortable with .

So Zombies , what have we learned today ...... Drive safely and just try and stay away from water or oil while riding (this is especially for bobeshwari).

Its "Sarceshwar" is it ???

First of all . I think Zombies is an accurate term to describe us . And yes our jokes are quite mature and needs a high level of humour to understand .

Anywho....

Well intro time . Umm.... lets see here . I think i have a good sense of humour . I can be fun to be with if i 'feel' like it (i get bored a lot so...) . And i like to insult "lambeshwar" or just watch him do idiotic things and laugh at his face . For example : When he hit a female in college thinking it was neha goyal , and on realising that she was not the same person ,  ripping away 'cos he didnt know what else to do .

Things like this make you want to be a part of Zombies of BMSCE 'cos these moments are the ones that you'll remember for the rest of your life ...... (my goodness , since when am i so sentimental !)

Lambeshwar Speaks.....

Did she say Stupid jokes??? I take personal offense at that statement.... I think our jokes are very illuminating and it requires a lot of mature thinking to think the way we do.... But if theres one thing we have learnt to develop its group thinking.... We can share a joke by just looking at each other and i think that speaks volumes about the integrity and closeness of the group.....

Well high time i introduced myself.... I am the MR Serious of the group... You just dont mess with me or you`ll be blown away... Quite literally.....
Very outspoken and fun to be with i guess.....
My friends would say i`m a flirt but i would like to portray myself as the boy next door(if u know what i mean ;-) ) I always end up doing or saying the wrong thing at the wrong time and end up amusing this group totally at my own expense..... Enough said.....
Zombies RULE!!!!

History of Zombies

One fine day God said, "Alright! I finally got the human formula right!". That was when He created Zombies. We are those rare few zombies who happen to be in classes together, fall asleep in classes, only to wake up to sleep some more later on. But, hey, we dont just sleep all the time. We also type. And rant. And crack stupid jokes. This is that place.
